Object Description
Birch bark canoe. Canoe has 5 thwarts which are decoratively carved and incised. The seams are stitched with split root and are sealed with pine or spruce pitch. The gunwales are secured by split root lashings and nails. The gunwales are lashed together at both ends with split root.One of the headboards is missing.
