Object Description Long rectangular wooden box (a), covered with silk and paper. Box contains silk flowers and other ornaments (#15164-15179). Interior lined with pink fabric (silk?). Lid (b) has a long red and black label with four Chinese characters ("Happiness, Long life through Prolonged years"). Yellow paper tag has seven Chinese characters in black ink - adhered to inside end which read: <transliteration> ("Gift to American Ambassador Conger"). 123.5 cm. (l) x 16 cm. (w) x 14.5 cm. (h).
