Object Description Written on board: "Upshur County, Texas. 34-119. / J. M. Riley farm, 7 mi. E. of Lafayette, Upshur County, Texas. Accompanied burial #2, at depth of 36". / The vessel is very thin and light, and bears a red slip, through which the design was incised. / Height 4 1/2"; diameter 6-7/16" / unusual. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
