Object Description
Written on board: "Serpent Mound Park, Adams Co., Ohio. / Peabody Museum Amer. Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. / John Cone Kimball, Photographer, 1887. / 26-- The Skeleton shown in the centre of picture 24. / A wood-chuck had made its hole in this part of the mound and carried out portions of the skull and other bones of this skeleton, which was 4ft. from the surface."
