Object Description Written on board: "35-10 / Gansu / Tibet [crossed out] / Gift of Harrison Forman / The Explorers Club / New York City / This may look like an ash / tray, but it is really a butter- / lamp as used by the Tibetans. / A small wick is placed in a / tray of melted butter. The result / is quite satisfactory for lighting / purposes."
