Object Description
Pawnee peyote drum (with stick and cord tightener). The standard drum made of a commercial iron kettle. The 7 lumps are balls caught under the deerskin head in symbolic representation of the shape of a peyote button and the pattern formed by the tie on the bottom serves the same purpose. Star pattern tied at bottom.
