Object Description
Wide Ruins rug by Faye Apache with four red-brown bands with three concentric and serrated diamonds and two half diamonds in pale gold, dark gold, white, with center olive diamond and bordered by white, light gold, dark brown lines. These bands are separated by five bands of gold with dark gold center band with four light gold lozenge patterns. Warp: white wool; wefts: dark gold, gold, pale gold, red-brown, olive vegetal colored wool, natural white wool. Selvages: gold cords woven in all four edges.
Warp direction: 115.5 x weft direction: 75 x depth: .4 cm plus 11 cm tassels at each corner.
