Object Description
Wide Ruins rug, three bands of gray with serrated concentric olive-gray, white, and gold diamonds bordered by gold, white, and dark olive-gray lines, the center diamonds in the middle band of the rug dark gold, and in the other two bands gold; these bands are separated by four bands formed by wide gray, tan and gold stripes and narrow white, gold, light olive stripes. Warp: white wool; wefts: gold, tan, gray, dark gold, olive-gray, white, tan-gray vegetal colored wool. Selvages: 2-ply gold cords added in on sides, 3-ply pale gold cords added in top and bottom.
Warp direction: 113 x weft direction: 86 x depth: .3 cm, plus 7-10 cm tassels all four corners.
