Object Description
Textile portion; surfaced divided into blocks framed by wave bands. Alternate rows of blocks have "spread eagle" birds and profile birds with trophy-heads in their beaks. Weave is 1-1 plainweave doublecloth with tan and dark brown cotton (2s-plied) warps and wefts. Along weft selvages is a border of small profile birds; another cloth was seamed along this edge. Single-faced, reverse side is not quite as well woven. One warp, one weft selvage.
