Object Description Three strips of 1-1 plainweave white cotton decorated with brown cotton (z-2s) supplementary weft patterning in two alternating blocks: an all-over pattern of seated profile animals with top knots; a block bordered with small birds and with standing figure in center, pair of drooping antennae, raised hands, fierce expression(?). Seamed together, blocks form checkerboard. Warp selvage tubular, coverd with complementary warp patterning. One warp, six weft selvages. Warp: white cotton, (z-2s), 15 epcm. Weft: white cotton, (s), 15 epcm.
