Object Description
Band of openweave with spaced warps and wefts: groups of six magenta/purple camelid warps (2s-plied) alternate with groups of 44 white cotton warps (2s-plied). At intervals, six amngenta camelid wefts (2s-plied) are woven in plainweave. Above, below the camelid wefts are four cotton wefts (s) which interlace only with the first and last four cotton warps in each group and otherwise float on the surface. It appears that magenta yarns are partially dyed purple. One warp, two weft selvages.
