Object Description
Border fragment; row of repeated small anthropomorphic birds woven in discontinuous supplementary weft floats of blue/purple, red/purple, yellow/purple camelid (z-2s). Pattern wefts interlock between repeats. Above and below are bands of weft-faced plainweave in red camelid (z, 80 epcm.). Was cut from a larger cloth of white cotton plainweave (warp, weft: (s)). One warp, one weft selvage. Warps: paired white cotton, (s), 12 ppcm.
