Object Description
Shoulder poncho (unfinished) - forms set with unfinished mantle # 30/4142; very fragmentary; plain weave single ply brown cotton; 3 motifs in one corner, blocked out Shoulder poncho (esclavina), of brown cotton plainweave with some outlining apparently blocking out for emroidery, stem stitched on wool yarns, but never completed. The intended design was apparently the Oculate Being. Warp heading has three tripled wefts. Weft selvages regular. Warp: brown cotton, (s), 18 epcm. Weft: brown cotton, (s), 18 epcm.
