Object Description
Shoulder poncho - fine plain weave brown cotton with some running stitches apparently blocking out for embroidery; badly disintegrated Fragments of a dark brown cotton plainweave tunic or shoulder poncho(?). Warp heading has three double wefts. Weft selvage isregular. Two widths of cloth were originally seamed together. Running stitches of brown cotton form a right angle in one place. Warp: dark brown cotton, (z-2s), 18 epcm. Weft: dark brown cotton, (z-2s), 18 epcm.
