Object Description
Border with stepped block outline, cut from plainweave cotton cloth. Row of profile birds crosses border. Above, below, step-fret bands, bands of weft-faced plainweave. Tab fringe completes border. Weave: slit tapestry with outline. One warp, four weft selvages. Warp: white cotton, (2z-plied). Weft: camelid, yellow ground, pink, red, purple, gold motifs, (2s-plied).
