Object Description
Saddle blanket or rug. Two-faced with diamond twill, pictorial yei figures. One side with four dark brown rectangles containing white yei figures or katsinas with dark gold hair, sash and boots, and a gold and white kilt, holding gray and dark gold feathers. These panels are framed with three bands of gray, gold and white 3-diamond twill blocks with bands of pick and pick between separated by dark brown bands with gray vertical lines in center of the blanket and one matching band at each end with outer gray lines, and by vertical bands of pick and pick lines of gray, gold, and dark brown. The other side similar pattern but with the four rectangles filled with vertical pick and pick lines in gray and gold.
