Object Description
Banded saddle blanket/rug. Gray background; center stripe of narrow lines of red and light gray, on a broad band of gray; above and below a series of narrow stripes and lines in red, white, black, grays and brown; the two bands above and below these are stripes of red, gold, gray, brown and black. Bands with narrow stripes of red and gray, and of black, red and gray are near top and bottom. At the top and bottom are wide bands of gray with two narrow disconnected lines in light gray-brown-red, and gold-red in center and blocks of bands of black, brown, red, and gold in each corner. Border: a narrow outer dark brown band at top and bottom. Lazy lines. Warp: white wool, brown wool outer warps; wefts: gray, red, brown, white, gold, black aniline dyed wool.
