Object Description
Two-faced saddle blanket/ rug. Diamond twill bands forming a grid, wide bands on all four edges and up center, and narrower bands horizontally, the two bands in center narrower than those above and below; the grid forms five rectangles on each side of center band. The rectangles on one face contain a geometric figure consisting of a brown and gray stepped diamond in center on a white figure, with gray, brown and white triangles forming the four corners, all outlined in brown, and brown triangular elements at each side of the white figure. The rectangles on the other face are filled with alternating stitches of brown and white forming narrow vertical lines. Border: narrow band of gray and brown vertical beading at top and bottom.
