Descriptions
Object Description Tunic; plainweave with warp stripes of brown, tan, white cotton (z, 12 epcm.). Down center and sides, groups of warp-patterned stripes in blue and white, brown and white cottons. Three-span floats combine with three-span weft floats to make small open squares. Folded in half parallel to weft, partially stitched together along one side with vegetal fiber cord (2z-plied); stitching pattern indicates that openings for head and arms were left along top transverse edge. Four selvages. Weft: tan cotton, (z), 5.5 epcm.
