Object Description Mantle of open plainweave tan cotton (s-spun) with repeats of large animal (bat? monkey?), woven with supplementary weft floats of gold, yellow, magenta camelid (z-2s). Weft floatweave border has serrated felines flanked by bands of weft-faced plainweave. A separately woven red camelid weft fringe stitched on and large tassels attached at the four corners. Four selvages. Tassels: cream cotton plainweave; red-red, yellow, tans camelid tapestry, brocade cat design.
