Descriptions
Object Description Border; broad central band has chevron design of feline faces and tails woven in black camelid supplementary wefts on white cotton ground, with pink, yellow camelid accents. Above and below, bands with feline faces in black and white complementary weft weave and bands of weft-faced plainweave. Separately woven black camelid weft fringe stitched to bottom edge. Border folded in half. Apparently torn from white cotton plainweave sash (warp: s; weft: z). One warp, two weft selvages.
