Object Description
Miniature cape; three cut strips of Inca interlocked tapestry stitched together with mercerized cotton. Design: repeats of concentric stepped diamonds in red, dark brown, gold, yellow, white camelid wefts (z-2S, 60 epcm.). Narrow strips of brown and black camelid fur stitched to 3 sides of square; 4th side has large stitch holes along edge; outer corners joined by heavy cord wrapped w/red camelid yarn. Result: small cape, join across chest. Warp: white cotton, (z-2S), 13 epcm.
