Object Description
Tapa Sample Book of an outer folded cover sheet and eight interior sheets with holding edge pasted; no stitching. The outer sheet (top and bottom) is made of two pieces of kapa beaten and perhaps adhered together, one off-white and the other a perforated dark brown sheet. Some of the interior are undecorated (natural off-white) while others are colored by lining technique or overall toned in one color. Colors range from reds to browns. One of the interior sheets is likely cut from the same cloth as the outer cover sheet. Additional information under Conservation.
