Object Description Sheets of tapa tied together, one pink. A five layer kapa moe (sleeping cloth). The five individual cloths are joined by stitching in the traditional manner (as described by Kooijman, Tapa in Polynesia, pp.168-9) with a strip of twisted kapa, along one long edge. All five cloths are of medium thickness and are composed of finely pounded off-white inner bark fibers.
