Object Description
Early Crystal rug, J.B. Moore influence. Light gray field with intricate design of various geometric elements in white, black and red outlines. Small black stepped diamond in center, enclosing white cross, and outlined in red with red diagonal lines extending from the top, bottom and sides, these red diagonal lies hook back and enclose white half diamonds at the ends. This central element is enclosed in a large white outline eight point star element with extended lines above and below suggesting a large central cross-shaped field. Four gray "L" shaped elements, each containing a black zigzag line, each outlined in red, and again in the overall white outlines that connect most of the pattern elements of the rug, these lines extend to form hooks at the steps.
