Object Description
Early Crystal rug. J.B. Moore. Gray background with central serrated red diamond containing geometric figures in white consisting of a horizontal line, pointed at each end, across center of diamond and with a vertical line extending out from it with two diagonal lines turning back towards center and ending in hooks, and a horizontal line with hooks at ends and a vertical line extending from it towards end of rug; a mirror image of these geometric figures, in gray, extends from center of rug to other end. Red diamond is bordered by narrow black stepped diamond, with black extension and cross bars at points of the diamond. There are black line, diagonal and hook elements in gray field above and at sides of central diamonds.
