Object Description Classic revival rug with Moqui pattern by Frances Davis. Background of narrow alternating stripes of black and dark blue; Central pattern in concentric stepped zigzag bands of red-white-red, two vertical zigzags with top and bottom turning back towards center of rug forming triangular space top and bottom containing small cross of red and white horizontal lines, and a central diamond shaped space containing a matching red and white cross; diagonal extensions of stepped red-white-red diagonals from each side of central diamond form also turn back towards center of rug. Each corner contains three red and white line crosses. Border: stripe of red-white-red matching crosses, and outer blue, black, blue narrow stripes at top and bottom.
