Written on board: "Red River County, Texas. 34-119. / From old S.E. Watson place, now known as Chapman Collection at Pecan Point on Red River. / Pot, or large bowl, although crudely made is distinctive because of shape and the presence of two unusually large strong handles. / Height 3 3/4", diameter 4". / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
