Object Description Written on board: Mexico. Yaxchilan. Maler 1897. Yaxchilan Stela 6 (verso) On the esplanade or lowesr place of the Eastern temple. The human side is effaced. The divine side shows Ketsalcoatl as beneficial god taking out from the - (Tompeatl=wicker-work chest) "chest of blisses," the chain of the felicities "the rope (serpent) of the felicities," decoraetd with small bee-heads= cab= miel= honey, & suggest the idea of "dulzuras," sweetness, benefices &c. T.M.
