Object Description Written on board: Yaqui / Arizona / "Juan Maso" / Yaqui Deer Dance - fast becoming nil. Developed picture from knowledge of Dance. Must be danced out of doors, not in a church. Gourds - red orange. Yaquis rotate gourds for rain with swishing sound; Hopis shake gourds up and down fiercely for rain. Sept. 4, 1940 - Pasqua Village, Tuscon, Arizona.
