Written on board: Otomi / Mexico / Ambrosio San Pedro, "Otomi," Ixmiquilpan, Mexico, E.F.C. July, 1941 / "Ambrosio San Pedro" / Finest type of primitive man I ever drew. He looked to me about a million years old. A sly rogue. Had "button nose" -- one of the Otomi peculiarities. Drawn at Ixmiquilpan, Mexico, 1941.
