Written on board: "Peru / Manuel Huallper / Drawn at Pisac, Peru, 1938, after a Sunday service. Magnificent / silver cross; above it is a scaular of Murillo's Madonna. Kissed / cross on "bastón" every time he touched it, often when likered! / up Crimson "punch bowl" hat; dark blue wool coat."
