Object Description
Coiled oval bowl-shaped basket in form of standing sheep with head woven over one fourth of opening. Sheep has four legs and protruding ears and tail. Made of bundle construction with bundles of bear grass, wefts of yucca, and designs of black martynia pod (Devil Claw?). Natural background with three black units on each side of the sheep that consist of stepped black rectangles. Black ears and eyes and stepped elements around neck. Rim finished in regular stitch.
