Object Description
Textile portion; pairs of human figures in assymetrical head gear, with arms raised, repeat down fragment. Pairs are alternately dark brown, then white, woven with supplementary wefts, paired (2s-plied) with floats arranged in diamond-twill pattern. Ground is plainweave brown cotton (warp, weft: 2s-plied; 14 epcm.; 10 epcm.). Sides are cut and overcast (in ancient times). No selvages.
