Object Description
Stepped corner of slit tapestry, woven on a white cotton plainweave cloth. One warp, one weft selvage. Warp: white cotton, (z-2s), 16 epcm. Weft: white cotton, (z-2s), 12 epcm. Tapestry is a diagonal design of serrated bands alternating with rows of birds, woven with magenta, pink, yellow, and gold camelid (z, z-2s), and white cotton (z-2s). A yellow tab fringe at the bottom of the corner.
