Object Description Two textile portion: composed of six squares (24 x 24 cm.), each filled with with a symmetrical crab(?) figure of blue cotton plainweave on brown cotton plainweave or vice versa, alternating checkerboard fashion. Warps interlocked at color changes; slits left by changes in weft color were stitched later. Squares joined with whipping stitch. One warp, one weft selvage (second piece). Warp, weft: (s-2s). 34 x 50 cm. (second piece)
