Object Description
Brown glass jar completely covered in peyote stitch beadwork with uniform opaque glass seed beads. The ground color is rust brown and against this background and around the circumference of the jar are 5 sets of 3 stacked yellow diamonds. All are outlined in one row of black beads, then one row of yellow. The mouth of the jar is beaded with a narrow yellow border at the top covering the glass and a row each of black, then white, just below. The bottom surface of the jar is also beaded, with a 1 cm yellow ring surrounding a black circular center 6 cm in diameter. A fabric liner insert is visible between the glass and the beading on the bottom of the jar. Total height of the jar is 12.5 cm. The mouth opening is 7 cm in diameter.
