Object Description
Barkcloth; probably a fragment cut from a larger whole--perhaps a malo (man's loin cloth); an uncolored medium-light weight cloth of well pounded, off-white, inner bark fibers; fibers well macerated and enmeshed; distinct net patterned beater impressions throughout; both long edge of the cloth retain an uneven pounded edge finish; both short edges cut.
