Object Description
Purple wampum beads. This is a collection of 52 faded purple wampum beads restrung after excavation. They vary from 4 mm to 7 mm in length and from 4 mm to 5 mm in diameter. The beads are so faded that it is probable that they come from an archaeological context. It is impossible to tell the type of artifact of which they were once part.
