Object Description
Banded saddle blanket or rug in orange, blue-black, yellow-green, gray-brown, yellow, rust, black and purple z-spun wool weft and tan z-spun wool warp. Three bands of orange with lines of blue-black, yellow gray, etc. forming triangles and 's' shaped elements and two bands of brown-gray with a horizontal serrated zig-zag line in blue-black and rust and narrow broken lines in blue-black and yellow-orange. Side, top and bottom selvages, orange z-spun s-twists 2-ply cord woven in. Corners tied and augmented. Length: 130.5 cm; Width: 84 cm. Thread count: Warp -- 3 ends/cm; Weft -- 8 ends/cm.
