Object Description Banded blanket. Plain weave. Six horizontal white bands and five bands made of central band of dark blue lines on black stripe, black stripes, and coral stripes separated by bands of white and black lines. Lazy lines. Warp: white natural handspun wool; wefts: white natural handspun wool, black natural handspun wool, augmented, coral natural handspun wool aniline dyed, blues natural handspun wool indigo dyed. Selvages: 3-ply coral cords added in all four sides, remnants of coral cords that once augmented tassels at two corners. Warp direction 181.5 x weft direction 139 x depth .3 cm, plus 4 cm remnants each corner.
