Object Description Wide Ruins rug made by Geneva Scott Shabie. Three lavender bands outlined with gold and brown serrated lines enclosing three concentric interconnected serrated diamonds in white, gold, pale gold, and dark brown, with gray centers; these bands separated by four gray bands with central stripe of narrow stripes and beading in white, gold, lavender, dark gray; gray band at top and bottom edged with brown and gold beaded stripe, gray line, and brown and gold selvage cords. Warp: white wool; wefts: gray, lavender, gold, pale gold, brown, dark brown, white, orange, dark gray natural and vegetal colored wool. Selvages: one 2-ply rust and one 2-ply gold cord added in on sides, two 3-ply gold and one 3-ply brown cord added in top and bottom.
