Object Description
Border; main tapestry secton with tapestry tab fringe similar to /8943, but for stepped square frets in border (here yellow and medium brown); tabs (2"). Attached strips similar in color and design to tapestry woven band (/8941), but for backgrounds of central rectangles in two colors, weft connections across tapestry slit every (3/8-1/2"); border of one band missing; possibility that bands sections were originally parts of same band, since cut ends seem to match for color and design. Remnants of plainweave sewn on (similar to /8943) between attachment points for strips; both weft selvages
