Object Description Written on board: "Panola County, Texas. / W.B. Sitwell farm, 10 mi. S. or Cathage. From burial on Murvaul Creek, near where legend has it that Chief Murvaul of the Tejas Indians was buried. / Small pop, or lamp with suspension holes. / Height 4" - diameter 3 1/2". / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
