Written on board: "Red River County, Texas. 34-119. / Tom N. Cole collection, from burial mound on Little Mustang Creek, 2 1/2 mi. N. of Sulphur River, and 2 mi. E. of Johntown. No other decoration than a few faintly incised lines. / Height 9", diameter (at top of neck) 1 1/2". / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
