Object Description
Navajo bolo tie from 1910-1930. Large bolo slider of silver with many turquoise stones cut in drop and round shapes in fluted bezel settings. Silverwork includes stamped motifs. Was apparently converted from a pin, perhaps a manta pin, as old welding marks remain on reverse side. Thin black braided leather cord with silver tips.
5.7 cm high, 9.3 cm wide, 1 cm deep; cord 97 cm long.
