Object Description Pad for putting on paint. A small fan-shaped cloth pad composed of pounded off-white inner bark fibers. The pad is made up of a single evenly pounded sheet; it is folded several times and tied together with a thin strip of pounded bark fibers 4 cm from the end having the cut edges; the opposing end widens into a triangle. Manufacture related crease line appear parallel to the width. Branch holes occur throughout. A reddish/brown pigments is present on the along the broad end. Ther are no beater patterns visible.
