Object Description Male figure perched on canoe, black-stained wood. See bibliography for more information. Elongated spoon or bowl with male ancestor figure carved in-the-round at the handle, geometric design incised along the sides of the bowl. Surfaces are coated with a dark stain. The eyes of the figure are filled with red-colored seeds and embedded with unknown adhesive.
Inventory Description Carved wood, seated anthropomorphic figure at end of canoe-like bowl, curved protrusion from figure's mouth to feet, figure has inlaid red seed eyes, boat has incised geometric designs around rim, tapered ends, charcoal residue on boat and figure, residual smoky odor
