Object Description
Rug, "fancy manta" revival style. Red, brown-black, and dark blue z-spun wool weft and tan z-spun wool warp. Central band of brown-black with wider ed bands above and below containing central row of dark blue outline diamonds and rows of solid dark blue triangles. Side selvages, rust-red z-spun s-twist 3 -ply cord woven in. Top and bottom selvages are the same. corners tioed and augmented. Length: 120 cm; Width: 162 cm. Thread count: Warp -- 3 ends/cm; Weft -- 10 ends/cm.
