Object Description
Klagetoh rug. Gray background with central red cross outlined in black and surrounded by white hooked diamond outlined in black; four half stars formed of alternating black and white lozenges on each side of central motif; border: red band around all four sides enclosing serrated zigzag border of black and white surrounding gray field. Warp: white wool; wefts: black wool, gray (black and white carded together) wool, white wool, red aniline dyed wool. Selvages: black cords added in on all four edges. Warp direction: 132 x weft direction 96.5 x depth: .4 cm, plus 10 cm tassels each corner.
